Zyla Blue Lott, a resident of Covington, Georgia, graduated from Eastside High School with high honors and is preparing to begin her college journey this fall.

At just 15 years old, the Eastside High School student is a prodigious learner with a passion for technology and creativity.

Lott’s exceptional academic abilities began showing as early as age four, when she tested with an IQ above 124. From that point forward, she consistently demonstrated intelligence and curiosity that set her apart.

By the time she was nine years old, she had already advanced to middle school, where she made history as the youngest student to take both high school and college-level courses simultaneously.

At age 11, Lott earned her first college transcript, a milestone that marked just the beginning of her high academic journey. When she began high school at Eastside at age 12, she had already completed the majority of her graduation requirements, according to 11Alive

While many might have opted for early graduation at that point, Lott initially made a deliberate decision to stay and embrace more than just academics. Rather than rushing ahead, she chose to focus on her personal and social development. However, by her junior year, she felt ready to take the next step. She applied to several colleges close to home that offered both rigorous academics and a dynamic campus culture. Lott was accepted to every school she applied to.

This fall, Lott will begin her studies at Kennesaw State University and major in software engineering. “It has equally high social and academic opportunities,” Lott said when asked why she chose KSU.

Her aspirations go far beyond a bachelor’s degree — she plans to earn her doctoral degree before the age of 21. With her maturity, intellect, and vision, those who know her have no doubt she’ll achieve her goal.

Described by her family and teachers as focused, grounded, and full of light, Lott is a young woman who exudes both brilliance and kindness.

Beyond her academic achievements, the teen is passionate about reading, mixed media art, and watching anime. This blend of creativity and intellect is part of what makes her such a standout. Her ability to combine emotional intelligence with academic excellence has earned her admiration from peers and adults alike.

As she prepares to step onto a college campus as one of the youngest students in her field, Lott’s future shines brightly. She has already broken barriers and redefined expectations, and with her heart set on higher learning and innovation, the next chapters of her life promise to be just as extraordinary as the first.
