The Game has fired back at Kanye West after the rapper called him out publicly on social media.
Over the weekend, Kanye took to X (formerly Twitter) and accused The Game of supporting Top 5, a Toronto rapper Kanye recently claimed had threatened him.
Kanye said he was upset that The Game, someone he had helped in the past, was showing support to someone he viewed as a threat. He also suggested he would no longer serve as executive producer on The Game’s upcoming album The Documentary 3.

The Game responded strongly on Instagram, saying he never asked Kanye for anything and did not need the cars Kanye gave him in the past.
He added that Kanye had once praised him for being the only person who stayed loyal during difficult times.
According to The Game, Kanye had reached out to him earlier and asked if he knew Top 5. When he confirmed that he did, Kanye allegedly asked him to help resolve the issue.

The Game said he contacted Top 5, who agreed to stop the threats out of respect for him. However, after informing Kanye of the outcome, he said Kanye changed his number and never responded again.
The two rappers have worked together in the past and remained close even as Kanye faced several public controversies.
Earlier this year, they collaborated on a song called Tina, which made headlines for its controversial lyrics about Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother.
The song sparked reactions online, especially after a video claimed The Game once sent Tina a direct message on Instagram.
