Kevin Ware Jr, a former NFL player has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for brutally killing his girlfriend and setting her corpse on fire.
The 41-year-old is a former tight end for the Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers. He fared decently in the game he last featured in about two decades ago.
On Wednesday, Kevin Ware Jr came to an agreement on a deal with the prosecution in exchange for pleading guilty to the 2021 murder of his 29-year-old girlfriend Taylor Pomaski.

According to a report by NBC Houston, Pomaski once disappeared under suspicious circumstances after being last spotted at a party at her home in Houston, Texas, on April 25, 2021.
Her family and friends were left agitated and reported the situation to authorities who began looking into the incident before they made the shocking discovery about her whereabouts.
Pomaski’s remains were reportedly found in December 2021 after she was burnt by Wade following the brutal attack.
Court documents indicate that Ware had “cut her with a knife, hit her with a blunt object, strangled her and then burned her corpse,” before deciding to set her body ablaze years ago.
The former NFL star was indicted for murder and tampering with a corpse in connection with Pomaski’s death on July 28, 2021.
Now, followers of American Football are keeping close tabs on how Ware fares in prison after his 30-year sentence was made once he pleaded guilty to the heinous crime in a plea deal.

Kevin Ware Jr chose no smiles in agreeing to the plea deal, as his mugshot from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office shows him furious throughout the process.
